Russoul has spearheaded the effort to acquire iconic Nirvana memorabilia. And has been instrumental in the development of Aberdeen’s creative arts district. He is also the executive director of the Downtown Aberdeen Association.

Russoul, along with the Sign Company Aberdeen, is helping to promote the city of Aberdeen. He believes the music scene has the potential to create a vibrant cultural community, encourage new artists, and encourage travel. He firmly believes that Aberdeen’s music scene has the potential to become a significant economic driver for the city.

The Garage: Music & Arts Center is a new venue for music and arts in Aberdeen. It is part of the 98520 Music and Arts District Initiative. They center is a performance venue and also provides rehearsal spaces for musicians and businesses in the area.

The Garage: Music & Arts is located in the Shoppes at Riverside in south Aberdeen. The Garage is open most days of the week. There is a $5 cover charge. The Garage also offers a pre-school music class.

The Aberdeen area is full of creative minds. In order to establish a more organized music and arts district. Aberdeen needs more musicians and musicians need access to the necessary spaces. These spaces can be found in a variety of industrial buildings in the city.

Highway signs scheduled to be installed by WSDOT

WSDOT has plans to install highway signs in Aberdeen that will show the distance between Sign Company Aberdeen and Montesano. This project will not only save WSDOT money on annual maintenance costs. It will also extend the life of the highway.

According to Wil Russoul, executive director of the Downtown Aberdeen Association, there are only two places in the city that are not currently occupied by a highway sign. One is in McCleary and the other is in Aberdeen. Russoul hopes that the sign will be able to sit in a locked garage, making it easier to find when traveling through downtown.

The Washington State Department of Transportation has a pre-design study underway for Aberdeen. The study will look at a signalized intersection on South Boone Street, as well as a compact roundabout at West Harriman Street.

Earlier this summer, WSDOT engineers began work on the long-term solution to road settlement. The project includes new pilings and support beams, solider pile walls, and the installation of an asphalt overlay. The project is expected to be completed in the fall of 2020.

WSDOT has also retimed two traffic signals along Highway 12 in Aberdeen. The project was completed on Thursday before Labor Day weekend. WSDOT also repainted the signs along the highway to make them more visible.

The Aberdeen / Westport – Signals and ADA contract includes the installation of new signal systems, curb ramps, and hot mix asphalt.
